1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the InRemit website, mobile application, and related digital services operated by Remitverse Technologies Private Limited.
2. Electronic Acceptance
This Agreement is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require physical or digital signatures. By using the Services, you accept these Terms.
3. Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years of age.
- Users must have legal capacity to contract.
- Business entities must have proper authority to accept these Terms.
4. User Registration and Accounts
- Users shall provide accurate information.
- Users are responsible for account security.
- Unauthorized access must be reported immediately.
5. KYC Requirements
Certain services including DMT, AEPS, insurance, loans, merchant payments, and account opening assistance require KYC verification in accordance with Applicable Laws and partner requirements.

7. User Responsibilities
- Comply with Applicable Laws.
- Provide true and accurate information.
- Maintain confidentiality of passwords and OTPs.
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Fraud or impersonation.
- Money laundering or illegal transactions.
- Unauthorized access to systems.
- Transmission of malware or harmful code.
- Violation of intellectual property rights.
9. Digital Communications
Users consent to receive communications through email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and other digital channels authorized by the Company.
10. Payments and Fees
Service charges, taxes, convenience fees, and other applicable charges may apply to transactions and shall be communicated where reasonably practicable.
11. Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds shall be governed by the policies of banks, payment service providers, and other third parties. The Company may investigate disputed transactions and cooperate with authorities where required.
12. Third-Party Services
Some services are provided by independent banks, insurers, travel operators, NBFCs, and other institutions. The Company acts as a facilitator and is not responsible for their independent actions or decisions.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Collection and processing of personal information shall be governed by the InRemit Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
14. Electronic Records
Electronic receipts, confirmations, emails, OTPs, and digital communications shall constitute valid evidence of transactions and user consent.
15. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, software, content, and proprietary materials remain the exclusive property of Remitverse Technologies Private Limited or its licensors.
16. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and shall not be liable for failures caused by force majeure events or third-party service providers.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.
18. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against claims arising from violations of these Terms, Applicable Laws, or third-party rights.
19. Suspension and Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate access where Users violate these Terms, fail KYC requirements, or engage in suspicious or unlawful activities.

21. Governing Law and Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably and, failing resolution, shall be referred to arbitration in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
22. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services shall constitute acceptance of revised Terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Grievance Redressal Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Company.
24. Severability
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
25. Assignment
Users may not assign their rights without written consent. The Company may assign its rights to affiliates or successors.
