1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs refunds, reversals, cancellations, and disputes relating to services provided through InRemit. The Company acts as a technology facilitator and refund eligibility may depend upon third-party service providers.

3. General Refund Principles

  • Refunds are subject to applicable laws and partner policies.
  • InRemit does not independently guarantee third-party refunds.
  • Users must provide accurate transaction information.
  • Fraudulent refund claims may be rejected.

4. Domestic Money Transfer (DMT)

Successful DMT transactions are generally non-refundable. Failed transactions shall be reversed according to banking partner timelines.

5. AEPS Transactions

AEPS disputes and refunds shall be processed in accordance with NPCI guidelines and participating bank procedures.

6. BBPS Bill Payments

Successful bill payments cannot ordinarily be cancelled. Failed payments shall be handled as per BBPS regulations.

7. Mobile & DTH Recharges

Successfully completed recharges are non-refundable. Failed transactions shall be reversed according to telecom and payment partner procedures.

8. Travel Bookings

Refunds and cancellations are governed by airlines, railways, bus operators, hotels, and travel providers, including applicable cancellation charges.

9. Insurance Products

Insurance refunds and cancellations are subject to IRDAI regulations and insurer-specific terms and conditions.

10. Loan Facilitation Services

Loan processing fees, approvals, and refunds remain subject to lender policies. InRemit acts only as a facilitator.

11. Merchant Payments

Merchant disputes, reversals, and chargebacks shall be handled according to banking and payment network rules.
